　　1. A glance at this letter
　　这种句型必然要使用倒装，而不该用"as long as you ... or if you ..."。在部分倒装的句子中，只把谓语的一部分（如情态动词、助动词、或是系动词be）放到主语的前面去，构成倒装语序。will convince you前面的应该是一个整体，a glance at this letter这里是作一个名词性从句作主语。
　　2. in the way
　　stand in the way是标准的“挡路”的英语表述。当时中学的时候还特意记下了一个句子来调侃的：Don’t stand in the way or I’ll knock you flat!别挡路，否则打扁你！
　　3. If exposed to the air
　　be exposed tobe exposed to 遭受, 暴露于...这是一个固定的用法哦！
　　4. Shocked at what he had heard 这题两个翻译的点在于：“震惊”和“听到的事情（过去完成时）”，只要这两点翻译出来基本就可以。shock/astonish/surprise……另外就是had heard。
　　5. rather than regret for the past 这题相对比较简单，大部分沪友都能正确地翻译出来。可以用rather than/not to等来表示转折，后面统一都是用regret for the past.
