　　《风中奇缘》是迪斯尼公司出品的年度大片之一，尽管从票房收入来看，并不是的一部，但混合了浪漫爱情、奇特历险的故事、优美的北美洲风情，回归自然的主题，动人的歌曲，无不打动我们的心。

　　影片描写了一个从欧洲来到这一片新大陆的白人青年，与当地印地安部落首领的女儿Pocahontas之间的爱情故事；以及贪婪凶横的总督，倔强的印地安武士，还有逗趣的浣熊、小啄木鸟和哈巴狗，可看性是很强的。影片中阐述的不同种族、不同习俗的民族之间可以相互沟通、互相尊重的主题，是具有现实意义的。

　　当然，一贯的迪斯尼传统，影片中的音乐成分是很重的，也很精致，尤其是其中一首由范尼莎.威廉姆斯（Vanessa Williams）演唱的一首“风的颜色”（Colors of the wind），非常动听。是一首难得的好歌。
