Practicing for the school play
　　Gary: We've been here for two hours, and we haven't finished a thing yet.
　　Mike: Look, I wrote the story, so I know what to do.
　　Gary: But you're not telling people their roles.
　　Mike: I'm resting now. I'll direct everybody in a minute.
　　Gary: We have to practice or else we won't win like the last three years in a row.
　　Mike: Whatever. I'm going for a drink. [Mike leaves]
　　Gary: Darn it, Mike, we have to get this done! We don't have much time left.
　　(下期续) 　　校园话剧公演练习
　　盖瑞：我们已经在这儿待两小时了，而什么事都 还没完成。
　　麦克：听好，故事是我写的，所以我知道怎么做。
　　盖瑞：可是你没跟我们说大家的角色。
　　麦克：我现在在休息。我等会儿就会指导大家。
　　盖瑞：我们必须要排练，不然就无法像前三年一样三连胜了。
　　麦克：随便啦。我要去喝杯饮料。（麦克离开）
　　盖瑞：该死，麦克，我们得把这完成啊！我们时间不多了。

　　★ or else 要不然…
　　★ in a row 连续。Gary这句话可以有两种解释︰一是像对话中所指‘不能像前三年一样三连胜’；而若是Gary说完...won't win后，停顿一下再说like the last three years in a row，这样的意思就正好相反，而是指‘会像之前那样连续三年没赢过’
