看到路边可怜的小狗，谁会不动恻隐之心呢？所以Donna一次次地把狗带回家，David这个当哥哥的也是可以理解的。无奈，家有家规，不许养狗，兄妹俩只好想办法，给狗找人家……

　　David sees Donna holding a puppy（小狗） in her arms.
　　David: Donna, where did you get that puppy?
　　Donna: I found her on the corner.
　　David: Donna, haven't you brought enough stray（迷路的、走失的） dogs home?
　　Donna: I can't help it. I felt so sorry for her. She looked so pitiful（可怜的、令人同情的）.
　　David: Well, I'm sure mom won't let you keep her. You'd better post a notice on the net again.
　　Donna: Yeah, I guess so. I hope we'll be as lucky as we were the last time.
　　David: Stop saying “we”, you are the one who brought her home.

　　David看见Donna臂弯里搂着一只小狗。
　　Donna，你从哪得到这只狗的？
　　我是在角落里找到她的。
　　Donna，难道你带回家的流浪狗还不够吗？
　　没办法。我觉得她看起来好可怜哦。
　　不过，我肯定妈妈是不会让你收养她的。你在网上登一个征狗启示。
　　没错，我想也是。我希望我们这次也能像上次一样幸运。
　　别再提“我们”了，是你把她带回家的。
