She sight-reads really well.
对话
Clare: My elder sister is always in demand at family parties.
Angie: Why, is she a good singer?
Clare: No, she plays the piano really well and she can play whatever music anyone puts in front of her.
Angie: I can play the piano, but I couldn't do that. How does she do it?
Clare: She sight-reads really well.
Angie: I wish I could do that, it's a great skill.
My elder sister sight-reads really well。 (1) Though he had never sung the song before, he sight-read it without any difficulty(他虽然从来没有唱过这首歌,但一看乐谱,就能演唱,毫不费力)。(2) A good musician must be able to sight-read(优秀的乐师,看到完全陌生的乐谱也必须能够演奏)。 He is my older/oldest son等已经没有人视为错误说法。 He is my eldest son/brother,不一定要改用elder一字。 My brother is two years older than I am(我哥哥比我大两岁),但不可以说elder than。
