NIH funded research project addressing the mechanisms of thymic aging and autoimmunity related to thymic involution, as well as studying the rescuing strategies of primary thymic stromal cell failure. Candidates should have high motivation and enthusiasm, a solid background in immunology and molecular biology, and experience in working with gene knockout mouse models. Those who have experience in stem cells or in viral gene transfer will have priority. We offer an interactive research environment in a multidisciplinary research department with a leading biomedical and immunological research team.
