在2004年8月22日雅典奥运会体操男子鞍马决赛中，中国19岁小将滕海滨以优美的动作征服了裁判和观众，最终以9.837的高分击败罗马尼亚名将乌兹卡，夺得中国体操队首枚奥运金牌。至此，在体操男团决赛中“马失前蹄”的海滨终于绽放灿烂笑容。

　　Pommel horse的意思是“鞍马”，也可称为side horse.Pommel的意思是（马鞍）的前桥、鞍头。
