4亿元珠宝惊现上海

Over 400 jewelry dealers from 22 countries and regions have brought their precious jewel items to the 2007 Shanghai International Jewelry Exhibition that opened Tuesday at the metropolis's International Exhibition Center.

　　According to organizer of this year's exhibition, the jewelry on display at the 4-day showcase may exceed a combined worth of over 400 million yuan, or about 50 million dollars, a three million dollar more than last year's amount.

　　Among all the dazzling jewel items on show include a jade necklace that boasts about 12 million yuan and other valuable collections from local prestigious jewelry stores.
