Hello, I am Juju Chang. And this is 20/20 In Touch. Coming up this Friday on 20/20, three courageous families come forward to tell their intimate stories to Barbara Walters, each has a child who feels trapped in the wrong body. This is the extraordinary story of transgender children. In the past, 20/20 has told stories about adults who've changed their gender, here are some of their memories.

　　“My earliest memory is from when I was 6 or 7 years old.”

　　“6 or 7…（yeah.） What do you remember?”

　　“Well you just know that you're different, and, you know, maybe you desire to just dress like other girls when you know that it's wrong, boys don't do that.”

　　“Something was different since even before I can remember. I was always enthralled with things that girls were doing. Whenever my parents were gone, I would experiment with my mother's makeup and wondered why I enjoyed doing that, wondered why I couldn't carry purse.”

　　“I certainty did not feel comfortable wearing makeup, wearing jewelry, I feel things like that were agony.”

　　“You were not a girly girl, by any sense.”

　　“I was a town boy, that's for sure.”

　　“For me, it's started as early as I can remember, my earliest memories were that, that I was a wrong sex and I was confused about it and I wanted to wear girls' clothes. And I wanted to be just like my mummy.”

　　“I've always known that I was a woman, unfortunately, I just did not have the privilege of having that anatomy at birth.”

　　“Growing upped when we were young kids. Liana is delighted to be a girl. But I will tell people that I was a boy. People would look at me strangely and started whispering. I was embarrassed.”

　　“How old were you when you first began to feel different ?”

　　“I knew for a fact by the time when I was three.”

　　“Three? ”

　　“… that I was different, that I wanted to be a boy, that I really was a boy.”
