Eric, the First Son

As a young boy, Eric was quiet. He always did what his parents and teachers asked him to do. He was a serious student and always studied very hard. He had a special interest in computers, tennis, and music. He was named after a famous Norwegian warrior because his great grandparents were from Norway.

　　He played on the high school tennis team and even won some county tennis tournaments. He played the trombone in the band in high school and sang in the choir. In college, his father Dennis was his band conductor. He would play computer games to increase his computer skill.

　　When he was in college, the computer became very useful in English classes when he had to write long assignments. He decided to take business courses where he learned how important the computer was in managing money. Upon graduation, he took a job with a company which loaned money to people for cars, motorcycles, and televisions. The company was just like a bank.

　　About eight years later, he decided to go back to school for more training in business. He was a very responsible and diligent graduate school student. He used his personal computer to write the assignments. Two years later he received his Master's of Business Administration(M.B.A). The dean of the school asked him to stand up at graduation. He was honored for graduating with the best grades in the class.

　　Eric took a new job with a high tech company. They call him a Financial Analyst. This means he must use his computer to analyze how the company's money is being spent. He helps the company make money by using his computer.

　　When he travels, Eric uses a car phone. He is able to call his wife as he is driving in traffic on the highway to explain he will be late for dinner. He can also call his business and be working for them as he travels in his car.

　　Eric and his wife, Debbie, have three children named Stephanie, Andrew and Nicole. He decided his car was too small for his family so he bought a van. Now he can take his family and their dog for trips to the countryside. His years of study and work have given him a good job and a good life.
