I want to see the credits.
对话
Vivienne: Come on, let's go, the movie's over.
Zelda: No, wait, I want to see the credits right through to the end.
Vivienne: Why, they list everybody including the studio cleaner. It'll take forever.
Zelda: My sister's in the movie business and she worked on this movie.
Vivienne: Really, what does she do?
Zelda: She's a make-up artist. Look, there she is, that's her name just coming up now. My mother will be so pleased when I tell her.
It'll take forever. It will take forever to read such a tome as War and Peace
(1)I'll love you forever and a day(我爱你一生一世), (2)He took forever and a day to make the decision(他很久很久才下决定)。
We should give him credit for his hard work(他努力工作,我们应予表扬)。 Tom was piqued to find that he did not get a mention in the credits(汤姆见工作人员名单提都没有提到他,很不高兴)Pique是‘使生气’,多是指自尊心受损而生气。
On the first page are the credits for all those who helped in the production of this dictionary(第一页列出了所有协助出版这本字典的工作人员的名字)。
